Response to Unethical Human Experimentation for Medical Research:
In the light of the historical and continuing events in which humans are unethically experimented on, it is of urgency to participate in ending unethical human experimentation. This can be done by not purchasing drugs that are copies of an existing drug, and not purchasing drugs that are unnecessary. For example, heterocyclic antidepressants, antibiotics, and fertility drugs that are variations of each other and add little to nothing in comparison to the existing drug. These drugs required participants to be part of the clinical trials in order to test the drugs for the purposes of marketing and not developing improved treatment. Boycotting copies of pharmaceutical drugs is a good place to start. Next, you can inform the people around you about human experimentation so they may think twice about participating in a clinical trial, or begin to ask more questions to the people conducting the trials because most of the time, the incentive is not worth it. If you are planning to enter the medical field, consider becoming a part of Physicians for Human Rights because it is the intersection of health and human rights. Be the generation that puts an end to the violation of human rights.

While exploitation of human experimentation might not be an issue that is greatly looked upon with concern one must start to look at the word exploitation in a more serious manner. Exploitation is a word that many people of color, low-income, elderly, children, as well as the mentally disabled are victims of on day to day basis. In order to stop such cruelty from continuing to happen we must all stand together like Social Justice Common Core values states "...as brothers and sisters are we'll perish together as fools." In other words first we must educate those around us what it means to be exploited against and what are unethical trials so these horrendous moments that happened in history don't happen again. Finally, in order to execute our plans we must choose to speak up for those who may not have a voice. We must fight those injustices that happen around us and not hope that the person next to you will do it for you. A change isn't something that happens overnight but a process that takes dedication, leadership, and most importantly the love that we have for on another to make it a better world for those next generations to come.
